The Matrix Revision is a distillation of the second and third installment of The Matrix trilogy (4+ hours) into a 90 minute super cut.
This re-imagining of Reloaded and Resurrections axes and rearranges source material. Entire subplots and characters have been deleted for clarity. The relationship between Neo and Trinity is forefront. Lots of exposition has been cut, allowing visuals to advance the story. Action has been tightened and dodgy CGI cut for a more visceral impact in fight sequences. Overall, the momentum of the film feels more linear and efficient, and to me, more powerful.
